The Very Rare LEGO Jango Fett

jangofettThe greatest bounty hunter in the Star Wars galaxy was undoubtedly Boba Fett.  He is well known by many Star Wars fans and everyone has a strong opinion about Boba Fett.

What not all fans have taken into consideration is where Boba Fett got his ability.  In the second prequel film, The Attack of the Clones, we were introduced to Jango Fett, the person who cloned Boba Fett.  Not only are Boba Fett’s genes based on Jango, but so was the entire Clone army!  Though Jango Fett was felled at a relatively young age by Mace Windu, it could be possible that Jango was the greatest bounty hunter of all the galaxy.

In the Star Wars series of LEGO sets there is only one set that contains a Jango Fett LEGO figure, that being the 7153 Jango Fett’s Slave I.  This set is no longer sold by the LEGO Group and so has become extremely popular and very expensive.  You can expect to find a new in the box LEGO 7153 anywhere from $250 to $500 depending on where you look.

Many fans do not want to shell out that kind of bucks for a LEGO set so they tend to go after just the two included LEGO Star Wars figures, Jango Fett and a young Boba Fett.  The two Star Wars LEGO mini figures in complete comdition can sell anywhere from $50 to $80 themselves so they are still pretty expensive.  One way to find one of these mini figures cheaper is by searching through eBay listings that are selling bulk LEGO mini figures.  Many times a seller will not know how rare these LEGO figures are and so will merely slap a buy it now price based on the quantity of mini figures rather than the value of each individual figure.  It is possible to buy a pricey LEGO piece for as little as ten dollars!
