I started my site, Rachel’s Wealthy Affiliate Review, because I wanted to share my story and experience with the WealthyAffiliate program with other people who are looking for a way to make money online and support their families.
I’m glad that I found Wealthy Affiliate right away. It wasn’t the first program that I looked at, but it was the first one that I saw that didn’t scream scam. At the time that I joined, I was so desperate for a way to make money and get those proverbial ends to meet that I was almost willing to try the first few sites that I came across. They were those loud flashy sales-pages with pictures of cars and yachts and beaches and have those testimonials from people saying “I make a million dollars a week and it’s so easy you’re cat could do it!”. Well, they’re not quite that bad… but almost.
Anyway, WA was a really eye opening experience for me. It taught me very thoroughly how to do affiliate marketing, where you promote other people’s products online and get paid a commission for it. It was great because I don’t consider myself to be a very technical person by nature, but they have lots of tools and step by step guides to walk you through and bypass if possible a lot of the technical details. And things like that make a very big difference when you’re just getting started out, so that you don’t get overwhelmed and quit.
Starting with really simple promotions, I was able to progress to larger and more advanced ones. And there was a wonderful forum full of other affiliate marketers on all levels of experience who were able to help me when I got stuck or wasn’t sure what to do.
Today, I support my family entirely from my online efforts. I wanted to be able to share that with other people, and that’s why I started my site, to be able to spread the word about WA, and why it’s such a great program.
