As a reviewer of printers, I can tell you that I have seen every type of printer designed by every brand name out there. Are some models designed better than others are? Of course. Are some brand names more consistent than others are? Absolutely. Do some brand names dominate certain arenas? No doubt about it. All that said, there is something that remains constant. One name is always at the top of the list, regardless of the type of printer. That name is Canon. You might have thought I was going to write Hewlett Packard in that spot. Hp does offer quality that’s on par with Canon, but Canon cares about their customers more and it shows.
I can’t tell you how many times I see negative reviews for hp printers because their customer service is poor. That is almost never seen with Canon. There’s one other difference. You will also get a 1-year warranty for parts and services just in case something goes wrong. And unlike some printer companies, they will honor a warranty.
