Every Christmas there is one toy that stands out and is a must have. This year there are so many choices that I don’t think one toy just stands out. But there are a handful of toys that are very popular this year. One of them being the new Liv Dolls.
Liv fashion dolls are similar to Bratz and Moxie Girlz. They are an improvement on Barbie since they are a little more like real girls and don’t have Barbies unrealistic body image.
There are four Liv Dolls Alexis, Katie, Sophie, and Daniela. They each have their own personality and interests. Although fashion and hair are interests for all of them and they come with different outfits and wigs that you can style. The accessories also include more outfits and hairstyles.
With each new Liv Doll purchase comes a code number that will gain the purchaser entrance into Liv World which is an online liv doll world. It is supposed to contain games, screensavers, and more liv doll information.
One problem that I have noticed with the Liv Dolls is that Katie is a skateboarder and is depicted riding a skateboard and grinding on a ramp. But there is no skate board accessory that comes with these dolls. I found a solution by getting a techdeck for the liv dolls. Techdecks are miniature skateboards and they are called finger boards because you are supposed to skate on them with your fingers.
I know the finger boarding thing sounds strange but these seem to be a hit with young school boys everywhere. These little boards are the perfect size to be Katies liv dollĀ skateboard. They are also quality little boards that have a grippy surface and wheels that roll smoothly.
Ironically the techdecks are created by Spinmaster who is the company behind the liv dolls. It is beyond me why they don’t have a skateboard accessory for their skateboarding doll since they make them anyway. But with a little creativity it is possible to find the right accessories for this hot Christmas toy.
