For those who do not know what VOCs are, these compounds that have relatively high vapor pressures whose presence are known to cause serious respiratory problems like wheezing and in worse cases asthma.
So when buying cleaning supplies have to be extra careful on what should pick off the shelves. When choosing items, try to look for products with green seals because those indicates that they are relatively safe to use. Products with green seals have little, if no VOCs in them. Be prepared though, because environmentally safe materials do cost a lot more. So make sure that if want to go green then allot enough money for them. Otherwise, you may be caught off guard with their prices. But do not worry because the money you spend for them will be well worth it in the end.
